Demchuk Ostap Bogdanovich, born July 6, 1975, native of the village of Lany, Lviv region, Ukraine, resident of the settlement of Magdagachi, Amur Oblast, citizen of Russia, electric locomotive driver, married.

On July 16, 2024, he was sentenced under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("High treason in the form of providing financial assistance to a foreign state in activities directed against the security of the Russian Federation") to 13 years in a strict regime penal colony with 1 year and 6 months of restricted freedom after release and a fine of 400 thousand roubles (~€4050).

Deprived of liberty since June 14, 2023.
